Upcoming Improvements

Some service in East Wenatchee will see changes in October. These changes are the results of feedback on three different scenarios we presented to the public in the fall of 2024.

Route 15: Columbia Station to Grant Road/Pangborn Airport

A new route connecting downtown Wenatchee with commercial destinations in East Wenatchee (Wenatchee Valley Mall, Safeway, and Costco), residential areas along 4th St SE, Kentucky Ave, Grant Rd, before serving Pangborn Airport.

Route 15 will provide reliable transportation to Pangborn Airport throughout Link’s span of operational hours. Bus service to the airport has been a consistent request from the public.

The bi-directional Route 15 will provide more efficient service to residents in East Wenatchee that are currently only served by a loop route.  Route 15 will return bus service to a high-density portion of East Wenatchee along 5th St NE east of Baker Avenue while also serving important destinations on trips to and from the airport.

Service Span:

4:15A-9:12P (Weekdays) 30 minute frequency

7:30A-5:12P (Saturdays) 60 minute frequency

9:30A-5:12P (Sundays) 60 minute frequency

Route 19: Columbia Station to Eastmont High School /Kentucky Avenue – replaces existing Route 11

A variation on the Route 11 that still serves Fred Meyer, Eastmont High School, and the residential communities surrounding 3rd St NE, Kentucky Ave, and 8th St NE. The new route will serve all stops between Columbia Station and Kentucky Ave/5th St NE in both directions. The route will also restore bus access to a greater proportion of Eastmont Ave.

Route 19 travel times for most riders will decrease when compared to current Route 11 trips.

Route 19, in coordination with Route 12, will continue to provide bus between Columbia Station and Fred Meyer every 15 minutes.
