Rules For Riders
To prioritize the comfort and safety of our passengers, we kindly request that all riders adhere to the following rules of conduct at transit centers, bus stops, and on buses. Our zero-fare program is a valued privilege that will continue only if we maintain a safe and pleasant environment for everyone.
Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to:
- Eating on the bus.
- Drinking (except from a covered container) on the bus.
- Boarding without wearing a shirt, pants/shorts and shoes
- Smoking, including but not limited to: tobacco, electronic cigarettes, marijuana, vaping, rolling or chewing tobacco.
- Sleeping or lying down.
- Consuming alcohol or being visibly intoxicated.
- No hazardous, explosive, incendiary or flammable materials or devices.
- Disturbing others with loud, harmful, harassing behavior, or soliciting. This includes the use of profanity.
- Using any sound-producing device without the use of headphones.
- Examples include playing music, having phone conversations on speaker.
- Harassing drivers, other employees or riders.
- Boarding with hazardous, explosive, flammable, or other dangerous materials.
- Putting feet on seats.
- Continuous riding – all riders must exit the bus within one full round trip.
- Boarding with wet or soiled clothes.
- Bringing pets on board, except in approved pet carriers.
- Violating federal, state, or municipal laws.

- Not following bus operator directions as required.
- Boarding with an excess of personal belongings.
