The Bus is Faster than Finding Parking
December 8, 2025

Take the Link to Leavenworth’s Village of Lights this holiday season!
Downtown Leavenworth is best explored on foot, especially during the Village of Lights festivities. The Bavarian-themed downtown transforms into a glowing winter village, with pedestrian-only streets lined in Christmas lights, city trees wrapped top to bottom in thousands of twinkling bulbs, and the Festhalle packed with holiday cheer.
The annual Village of Lights festival attracts more than 30,000 visitors a year, but downtown parking is limited to around 1,500 stalls. (source) No one wants to miss out on more than half a million lights because of full parking lots—and no one has to. Link Transit makes it easy to skip the traffic and enjoy the festivities stress-free with convenient daily bus service to, and around, Leavenworth.
